Salma is a Sudanese-American digital artist and illustrator. Her art draws inspiration from the SWANA region, as her origins come from North-Eastern Africa. Islamic folklore, mythology, and traditions are topics that she admires and frequently incorporates in her art.

She hopes her stories will educate and inspire others about this corner of the world and continue to expand her knowledge through drawing.

Salma holds a Masters degree in Architecture from the University of South Florida.
